Your account: your email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never see or store the password itself.
Your garage: the vehicles, maintenance schedules, readings, and service history you enter. That's it — there's nothing collected behind the scenes.
Cookies: one cookie that keeps you logged in. No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no fingerprinting.
When you use Scan from manual, the photos you take are sent to Anthropic (the AI company) to read the maintenance schedule out of them, under Anthropic's commercial API terms. This site does not keep the photos after the scan — only the resulting list of maintenance items, which you review before saving.
We send email only when there's a reason: a verification link when you sign up, or your login details if an account was created for you. No newsletters, no marketing.
You. Your garage is private to your account — other users can't see it. The site operator can technically access the database (that's true of any website) and does so only to run and fix the service.
Your data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Backups are kept for a limited time so the service can recover from failures, then expire automatically.
You can delete any vehicle yourself, which permanently removes its schedule and history. To delete your whole account, email the address below and it'll be removed — everything in it included — promptly.
This is a small independent tool, provided as-is with no warranty — it's a maintenance reminder, not a substitute for your owner's manual or your own judgment. Don't rely on it as your only record of safety-critical maintenance.
Be reasonable: no abuse, no attempts to access other people's data, no automated scraping. Accounts that abuse the service (or its scanning allowance) can be suspended. These terms may be updated as the service grows; meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
